Bucheon International Animation Festival(BIAF) is the first official Academy Awards-eligible international animation festival in South Korea, showcasing a diverse range of animated films from around the world, covering various themes.

Submission Deadline

  • Deadline for Short(Short, Graduation, TV&Commissioned) ~ June 30, 2025 (23:59 KST)
  • Deadline for Feature ~ July 31, 2025 (23:59 KST)

Winner Announcement

  • Short(Short, Graduation, TV&Commissioned) Early August, 2025
  • Feature Early September, 2025
  • Specific schedule will be announced later.

How to submit

  • Complete and submit the application form on BIAF website or FilmFreeway

Notice

  • Use one form per entry. (Please use separate entry form for multiple entries.)
  • The application is complete only after submitting the entry form and sending us Digital File or Preview Screener and director’s photo and still cuts by e-mail.

  • Considered Priority for Premiere Condition.
    • Digital File(mov, avi, wmv) or Preview Screener Link.
    • 1 director’s photo(Resolution 300dpi)
    • 3 still cuts(Resolution 300dpi)
  • No Entry Fee.
  • Produced after 1 January 2024, Must not have been submitted to previous BIAF.
  • For group submission, please inquire.
